About skyline cares

In response to Covid-19, we launched a new program

called Skyline Cares. The goal of this program is to provide opportunities

for our Austin Skyline Family to support our local communities while

encouraging civic engagement and leadership amongst our athletes and families.

We have found that this has been a great way for us to be a team off the court.

And while this program was founded in response to Covid-19, it has become

apparent that our efforts to support our community expand beyond this current

environment and we look forward to continuing to support our Skyline family

and community through these efforts for years to come.

Who do we serve?
Our Skyline family is a diverse family with interests that span many needs in our community. As such, we will provide opportunities for us to help across a variety of categories, including but not limited to:

· Animals
· Education
· Elderly
· Health/First Responders
· Local Businesses

How Do We Serve? We are organized by 3 committees:

  1. Letters, Art & Happiness Committee (examples include making cards and signs)
  2. Sewing Committee (example includes making masks)
  3. Lending a Hand Committee (examples include reading to kids over zoom and running errands for high-risk individuals)

I love this! How can I participate?
If you are interested in serving on any of the committees, please fill out the form below and let us know which committee(s) are of interest to you. You will always be "invited" to help, but never required to do anything if you are busy/you don't feel called to help.  Saying you are interested just gets you on email lists to know of opportunities when they arise.

We are just getting started in our effort to build our family together while we support the needs in our community.  We can't wait to have you alongside us on this journey if you're interested in joining us!
